Telefunken CR-8200

This Telefunken ghettoblaster is an unsung gem among collectors. It doesn't sell for high prices, probably because its styling is rather conservative. But it has strong, warm bass, precise treble, and an excellent Stereo Wide mode. It sounds very similar to a JVC M70, just not as loud.

It seems to have been intended for North America, because it is 120 volts only. In Germany there was a 220V version called the Universum CTR-2605, and there's also a dual-voltage version called the Sunny-Vox 5200.
